OUR STORY

An Xuyen Bakery Inc. started commercial production in Salem, Oregon as a small bakery with a two person staff, delivering baked goods to Portland and surrounding areas. In 1995, after developing a larger customer base in Portland, An Xuyen Bakery Inc. opened its first official location on Sandy Blvd. in the Hollywood district, a famous business section in Portland.

In 2001, with a need to expand production line and streamline its manufacturing system, An Xuyen Bakery Inc. moved to its current location on 5345 S.E. Foster Road. An Xuyen Bakery Inc. uses authentic recipes, which are a combination of Vietnamese, Chinese and French influences that have produced special flavors and create their own unique, aromas and tastes. An Xuyen Bakery Inc. products are baked fresh daily by master bakers. Most of products are low in sugar content and use local produces.

Come to An Xuyen Bakery & Cafe located on 5345 S.E. Foster Road. You will find not only our specialties available, but also seasonal products such as moon cakes, cookies, custom made birthday and wedding cakes with a wide variety of flavors and aromas. Beside these seasonal products, you can also find exotic baked goods that are hard to find at other bakeries, such as guava cookies, durain cakes and jelly rolls of several colors and flavors.

These exotic product's recipes have been developed and taste tested by An Xuyen Bakery Inc.'s own bakers. An Xuyen Bakery Inc. will proudly introduce these products to you as you pause for coffee and cookies in the Cafe during your busy day. At lunch time you can obtain one of the many lunch special items which is another specialty of the house.
